- Aon Christmas Party Roof top Park Hyatt. Aon clients enjoyed a magical dinner on the roof of the Park Hyatt Sydney which included a structured vertical tasting of Burton Wine.
- Bistro LuLu created a superb atmosphere for our final wine makers dinner of the year. Seventy guests were treated to a 4 course degustation menu matched to 9 Burton wines.
- Over 400 people enjoyed the Burton Premium Wines Chardonnay 2000 and Cabernet Merlot at the Australian Fund Manager Awards night held at the Four Seasons Hotel. Nigel Burton hosted an Options (blind wine) competition which after 8 questions, revealed the wine to be the Burton 2000 Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon.
- Burton Premium Wines joined the world famous chef, Bill Grainger who launched his new book entitled "Bill's Food" at Simon Johnson in Pyrmont. He chose the occasion to also demonstrate his latest dishes of which his Saffron Chicken accompanied by Spinach Yogurt was perfectly matched to the Burton 2000 McLaren Vale Chardonnay and his Marinated Lamb Cutlets with a Ginger Tomato Sauce and Green Salad which went so well with the Burton 2000 McLaren Vale Shiraz.
- The Meetings Industry Association of Australia (MIAA) recently invited Nigel Burton to speak on behalf of the Wine side of the endless debate entitled "Food and Beverage - What goes with What?" He was joined by Steven Green of Culinaire who demonstrated his skills in the kitchen to produce wonderful canapés to match the Burton 2000 and 2001 Chardonnays and Burton 2000 Cabernet Merlot.
- We were invited to provide the wines for the recital at Cranbrook School of Bach/Busoni 'Chaconne' Chopin, 'First Scherzo, 'Saint-Saens/Liszt/Horowitz 'Danse Macabre played by the world famous pianist Alexander Gavrylyuk in the presence of Vladimir Ashkanazy. The magnificent Steinway grand
piano was provided by Theme and Variations. An evening to remember.
- Bulgari Australia and Swan Yachts invited Burton Premium Wines to join them on Clark Island in Sydney Harbour to conduct a wine tasting and to provide wines for a lunch that launched their new range of nautical watches The clear blue skies and Harbour views was the setting for an unforgettable day with wonderful food and wine, Harbour sailing, and a treasure hunt on offer.
- Our 2002 Vintage Wines were released at a sensational evening at the Altitude Restaurant, top level of the Shangri La Hotel Sydney overlooking the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Guests were treated to a 5 course degustation menu and 6 Burton Wines including the 2002 Reserve Shiraz which has already won a highly commended International wine served with food competition award.

Cook Book
We at Burton Premium Wines believe that wine is a lifestyle product and when complimenting fine food adds to the overall experience. We were therefore delighted to be included in the Boutique Wine Association's new Cook Book where our 1998 Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon was matched with Lamb Shanks with Zucchini Flowers.
